1. Be careful when exposing to the sun
Everyone knows very well that the time spent in the sunlight should be limited, but we will remind you one more time. Before leaving your house, make sure to put your sunscreen with a high SPF on, so you can leave your worries aside and enjoy your time outdoors. Don't forget to stay hydrated as the temperatures and humidity are unusually high – besides the cool water, bring along some natural juices for an additional dose of vitamins and minerals. If you want to cool off, prepare some super mocktails with Dida Boža juices.
2. Create your own perfect moments
Our favourite part of the day is when we jump into our lovely Adriatic! Splashing around in the shallow end or diving in the depths – we don't care, as long as we are in the sea! Even if you are not a morning person, we suggest you wake up earlier one day and reach the beach before everyone else. Besides the guaranteed refreshment, calm sea and silence of the empty beach will make you feel serene and peaceful – a feeling we all need, but rarely make time off for our own wellbeing.
3. Enjoy the summer delicacies
Fresh fruit is making our days even sweeter every summer, but to avoid getting bored with the tastes, try to use fruit in different combinations – for example in some nice desserts. Prepare them and serve to your loved ones, and if they agree to make them for you instead – even better! On the other hand, if you are not in the mood for food prep, just bring some healthier snacks, such as dried figs, wherever you go – they will ensure you don't run low on energy during all your summer activities
4. Try something new
Whether you are going on a summer trip or decided to spend your holidays enjoying your own home, don't hesitate to try something new. We bet there are some recreational activities that you hadn't had the chance to try, or places in your area that you haven't visited yet because it was never the „right time“. Get out of your comfort zone for a couple of hours and surprise yourself, your body and mind will thank you!
5. Don't be bothered by nonsense
Often we fall into a trap of overthinking and stressing over work and other obligations, but also bothering about other people's opinions. This summer say „No“ to all the worries and enjoy everything summer has to offer – great company, beach, dancing, drinks, and food (because barbecue dishes with ajvar are a must!).
