• 2 1/2 cups sharp flour
• 200 g margarine for cake preparation
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 2 tablespoons of sugar

Put margarine, salt and sugar into the bigger bowl and mix with a mixer for about 1 minute. Bit by bit start adding flour to the same bowl. After placing flour add cold water until the mixture starts looking like a ball. Put the ball into a bowl with a lid and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
When the dough has settled for 30 minutes, put it on a parchment paper and place another parchment paper over it. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll the dough 2 cm in size, apply it to the pie mold and leave the remaining dough on the side. Roll the rest of the dough as thin as possible and cut it into strings.
Place frozen cherries in the cooking pot and wait for the cherries to thaw on the low heat and start to simmer (approx. 10 min.) Add Dida Boža organic cherry spread, vanilla extract and lemon zest. Mix and leave for 5 minutes to cook on low heat. At this time, place the dough in a small bowl and add 3 tablespoons of water and mix until the corn starch dissolves. Add the corn starch to the cherry and cook for 2-3 minutes. When the filling becomes thicker, remove it from the fire and leave to cool at room temperature.
Pour the filling in the mold and decorate with the remaining dough as desired. Put it back in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. When the pie is done, leave it 2-3 hours to cool and then serve. You can serve pie with ice cream, cream or chocolate dressing as desired.
