Bishop bread with Christmas mulled wine

Biskupski kruh s božićnim kuhanim vinom | Dida Boža


• 160 g flour

• 120 g sugar

• 5 eggs

• 50-60 g Dida Boža dried fruit mix

  - figs, chocolate raisins, chocolate aronia and goji berries

• 30 g mixed toasted nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts)


Mix toasted nuts and Dida Boža dried fruits with flour to make it aromatic. Mix yolks with sugar and mix until the sugar dissolves. Mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt to form snow. Combine all together and pour into a mould for baking bread that you’ve previously greased with butter and sprinkled with flour. Bake at 150 °C/300 °F for 45 minutes, take it out of the oven and let it rest for one hour. Serve the cake with a glass of mulled wine.
